Our Client, a major regional Groundworks contractor, requested involvement from Primary Aggregates at the very early stages of this project. The site had had various occupiers over many years all involving light industrial usage. The site had become heavily contaminated with oils, diesel and even asbestos.
Primary Aggregates worked closely with the surveyors, Landfill, Treatment facilities and the on site team to safely and efficiently, categorise, segregate and dispose of the various contaminated materials to licensed facilities. We assisted with the Hazardous Waste Consignment notes and ensured all of the material were disposed of in a fully compliant way and in line with best practice in the industry. The removal of all of the waste from site took over 18 months. “We were delighted to be involved in this challenging project. We have already started work on a similar project with this client in Kent and look forward to getting the job done as efficiently as possible ” says Managing Director, Michael O’Leary.
