Muck Away
Muck Away is the generic industry term used to describe a range of activities involving the removal of waste or spoil from a construction environment. Over the years the regulation has increased, rightly so, to ensure the protection of the environment. At Primary Aggregates we have built up a wealth of expertise in the removal of all waste streams to licensed facilities, whether to Landfill, Soil Treatment or Recycling. Below is a synopsis of inert Muck Away, however feel free to contact one of the team to discuss your requirements and let us take the stress out of the process.
Inert Muck Away is defined as 'waste that does not undergo any significant physical, chemical or biological transformations and is unlikely to adversely affect other matter with which it comes into contact.' Often included as inert Muck Away is concrete, hardcore and subsoil but in reality concrete and hardcore will invariably be recycled at a reduced cost.
We can dispose of inert Muck Away on tippers, grabs or skips. We offer 6, 8, 10 and 12 yard skips.
For larger volumes of material where you may need to segregate waste we can provide roll-on roll-off (RORO) containers which may be a more cost effective and environmentally friendly alternative than hiring multiple skips. We can provide 16, 20, 35 and 40 yard containers.
In partnership with the landowner, we have secured a CLAIRE facility to accept inert material to divert from landfill.
