With over 5,000 Tonnes of fully Certified Recycled Type 1 required for delivery, Primary Aggregates needed to ensure enough lorries were on the job to meet the project deadline. Our client approached us looking for a fully certified material they could use to help with stabilising 300 metres of embankment that had slipped as well as being used to upgrade the drainage channel in the area. After material and certs approval from site, 10 loads a day were being sent to a specific compound area to avoid direct deliveries on to the motorway. Lorries needed to call site 15 minutes before arrival to manage deliveries. After two weeks, we increased the loads to 20 loads a day and eventually completing the project with 25 loads a day. Regular contact with the client over the duration of this project enabled us to build a workable timetable to manage deliveries and help achieve the project deadline!
